Hello dear readers! Happy New Year to you all ! I do hope you enjoyed your holidays !
May this new year bring you the best life has to offer!
Since yesterday we started working again, so everything is back to normal!
In my first post of this new year, I bring you some interior design images I came across lately, in which something caught my eye, something that inspired me…
In this first image, I love the contrast between the stained paneling and the white seats. And I do love that chandelier and the hurricane lamps on the coffeetable.

This antique French paneling stole my heart! And I am wondering if the mirror on the right is hiding a secret door?

The color scheme of the old painting is repeated in the chosen fabric colors of this living room. Gorgeous, isn’t it?!

One of my favorites! This interior radiates a mysterious atmosphere! Notice the French bergère in the foreground!

Paneling, mirror, painting, armchairs, tables… the perfect combination!

English paneling! So beautful!

Wouldn’t you love to see your attic decorated this way?!! Look at that paneling with integrated door! I have always loved Windsor chairs as the ones here around the table.

A typical Belgian styled farmhouse living room, with oak paneling and linen slipcovered seats!

An English Queen Anne chest of drawers and paintings of horses above!

What a superb detail of this beautiful upholstered armchair!

What do you think? Do you understand why these images are inspiring me?

So gorgeous , Greet! The one thing I've decided I want to change is the fact that my shop has focused on "new" items that are easy to sell for my shop….I'm determined to get back to the basics of why I started this shop in the first place…gorgeous antiques! Mirrors, desks, chairs, settees, etc….that is what I truly love and I love each piece you showed in these images! Truly beautiful! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHello Greet, I have to say that when I see images like these ones I have no words to express what I feel. My imagination begins to fly. Your posts are amazing.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year again and thanks for being there

Happy New Year Greet! The rooms are all stunning and glad to see someone removed the paint from one of the rooms and let the wood breath. The arm on the chair above is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
