This loft at the Belgian seaside, has the colors of the sea, all nuances that go from green to blue, grey to chalky white walls, colors of the foam created by waves. The place is decorated with beautiful antique furniture with an aged patina.
The loft was a former workshop and is now magically transformed into a cozy and charming dream home.
Color nuances from green to blue.
Notice the industrial lighting, referring to the former workshop.
Beautiful antique cabinet with gorgeous aged patina. I love the combination of the Dutch cabinet and the Swedish chairs.
Even a fireplace is present in this loft.
Aged oak cabinet and linen upholstered chairs and seats.
Doggy is feeling comfortable at his home.
Love this! That settee, that console table and the Kelim carpet.
Painting with colors matching the color palette used in the loft.
What a gorgeous bathroom! Notice the wooden chair next to the tube.
I couldn’t resist sharing this gorgeous Belgian loft with you! Did you like it?
xx

Greet this is so beautiful that the word like doesn't do it justice. I love the whimsy of the kitchen and the serenity of the living space. I am looking for a sofa for our living room and am in love the piece in this space!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the beautiful inspiration!!!!!
Hello Greet,
ReplyDeleteThis must be perfect for me as a "pied à terre"
Thanks
Jérôme
You always find the most amazing spaces, Greet! And I can't wait for Brooke to see this-there are so many lovely little ideas here not to mention the big picture. I am so crazy for the kitchen floor tiles especially, what a funky mix and that bathroom is just lovely. I will have to come back and look at this again later, it is too much to take in at once. :)
ReplyDeleteBisous,
Heather
I LOVED IT!!!!! There is something distinct about Belgian design and different from French; there is a rustic and even OLDER look that I cannot quite describe, but I JUST HAVE TO IMPLEMENT this into my home. That DUTCH cabinet in the light blueish patina is JUST GORGEOUS and the kitchen, OH GREET! LOVE YOUR BLOG!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day dear one and kiss Mango on the nose!!! Anita
Greet...All I can say is WOW. There is so much to love about this space. I can only imagine the beautiful sunlight that illuminates these wide open spaces. Love the taxidermy in the kitchen and that whimsical little statue reaching into the open shower. The antiques, especially the Dutch cabinet, are perfection.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a pleasure to visit Belgian Pearls! XO - Allison
Love it! The space and color palette is beautiful......love the rustic but elegant vibe. Stunning Greet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous, fabulous loft! I love all the whimsical pieces that atest to how fun the owners might be. Love the color and the soothing neutral palette. Simply beautiful!

maar één woord, formidabel!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Greet, what a magical place.... I adore the colors and textures. The upstairs bedroom is one of my favorites. And the kitchen, absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI just would forgo the hanging ducks ...
But then, I am not a hunter.
; )
So Belgian...refined, yet rustic, and full of character! I love these images; can only imagine how lovely "in person",
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!,

ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic space. Lovely, soft dusty Belgian. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe only bit I have a bit of a problem with is the massive amount of taxidermy. Dusty old stuffed dead bodies in the kitchen? I don´t know. Doesn´t really sit right. Maybe if you kept then well dusted...they do look cool.
I loved Pieter Porters fantastic booth at the most recent Maison et Objet exhibition. He uses taxidermy in an amazingly beautiful way.Like statement flowers in floral arrangements (well, he was originally a florist, wasn´t he?), but I still have this nagging in the back of my mind...it´s a dead body...it´s a dead body.
In a display - love it. In my home - gosh, I just don´t know.
I love your blog by the way.
You have amazing eye.
Oh dearest Greet I'm in chalky heaven with the living space!!!! Are those puppets hanging above the fireplace? Such an intriguing property! Hugs from an old farmhouse in England - Glenda xxxxxxx

That is a very beautiful loft, I love the use of greens and blues along with the natural linens and wood. I particularly love the brick walls in the bathroom.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! You've done it again, dear lady, brought us a fabulous example of Belgian style.
Hugs, Cindy

J'adore cet espace très bien agencé et aménagé. La décoration est superbe (juste un bémol pour les tableaux). C'est exactement le lieu que je rêve d'habiter. Question : coment font-ils pour prendre les buches si haut ?
